Yeah, the one that didn't strike me as being serious business

I wasn't referring to the necroposting rule or lack thereof, I was referring to the fact that Pleass seems to have ignored the NEW PEOPLE LOOK HERE BEFORE POSTING section.

I didn't really read the rules at first since the first one was "keep it pg-13 fuckers", doesn't exactly strike me as serious business

Always with the new people necroposting! Pleass, you might want to check out both the SMBC rules thread, and the New People Introduction thread.

I think there is so much content coming from so many sources that people are bound to step on each other's heels. Plus, the idea of Hamlet II is so crude and ridiculous someone was bound to step on it. If you remember the little known classic Last Action Hero on my, there's a scene where a boy re-imagines Hamlet as an action movie while listening to AC/DC on his headphones. I doubt SMBC stole from that, even though it happened in 91 or so.

Wow. So are you saying that the secret to moving past the deep dark secret past that I have is to pay a stupid amount of money every month on WoW? Because I'll tell you, WoW isn't all that great compared to some other games. City of heroes lets you create your own custom hero of villain. You can write up a story and choose your powers and then get extra powers like flying and stuff. So really, I don't see why any of us would feel like getting illegal WoW money. In fact, we've had a thread discussion saying explicitly how we think it is a waste of time. I've played it on trial once just because someone put it on a computer in class, but that's it.

IT WASN'T THAT GREAT. AND FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN, NO ONE THAT VISITS EVEN PLAYS IT. SO SHUT THE HECK UP. YOU AREN'T GETTING ANY MONEY HERE.

No! That's more than three lines!

True, though that wouldn't excuse it at all, because the play is the catalyst for the plot to unfold. So while not focussing, it does play a significant role. Though I could be wrong, I haven't seen it yet.
Not that you could ever base a movie on a single panel comic...

sometimes, after a rare moment of twobuy brilliance, I'll really think of you as my brother and forget that you were adopted.

That part about Zach was added on 9/22. Wonder if it has any truth or it's just people wikipediaing for personal fun.

Although, wouldn't be the first time someone ripped of Zach. <caugh>

I quite enjoyed the movie and that particular comic, so I'm going to just say "Don't care."

Coincidence or (as I choose to believe) rip-off?

Hamlet II : http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db ... id=8#comic

vs

Hamlet 2 : "a sequel to Hamlet featuring a time-traveling title character" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamlet_2

It would seem people in Hollywood enjoy stealing from this comic!
