I still firmly believe that those are the ramblings of a lunatic.

Wait, shouldn't there just be 6 instead of 8 places for the arms on the cross? 2 of the 8 limbs are nailed to the bottom, then the 6 should go with 3 on each side...?

Maybe two of the limbs aren't nailed to the bottom then.

I think the "E" is for "Encephalopods," or the equivalent Latin genitive plural.
INRI was Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.
I think this one is Octopus of Nazareth, King of Encephalopods.
For what it's worth, I think this is one of the most clever comics I've ever seen. My hat's off to Zach.

I thought Encephalopods were one of the names of the monsters from the Alien films and cephalopods were the class that squids and octopodes were in.A guy wrote:I think the "E" is for "Encephalopods," or the equivalent Latin genitive plural.

Finally an answer.A guy wrote:I think the "E" is for "Encephalopods," or the equivalent Latin genitive plural.
But why ... "Encephalopods - Did you mean Cephalopods?"
Okay I guess that's why.Kaharz wrote:I thought Encephalopods were one of the names of the monsters from the Alien films and cephalopods were the class that squids and octopodes were in.
But maybe Zach doesn't know.

Re: [2011-Sep-07] Octopus Jesus
Yea, I can't remember encephalopods being used, I don't think it was in the movies, but I knew encephalopod sounded familiar and that is the only usage I can find anywhere, so I must know it from some spin off media around the movies. In the movies I think they only use (The) Alien and xenomorph.Kimra wrote:I remember them being called zenomorphs but that's it.Kaharz wrote:I thought Encephalopods were one of the names of the monsters from the Alien films and cephalopods were the class that squids and octopodes were in.
