The SMBC Adverts Thread

So, Dirty Microbe are pretty much continually advertising on SMBC these days. The website itself is full of t-shirts I wouldn't be offended to wear, and the shipping even seems reasonable -- and I mean to the UK, as well, which is uncommon to say the least.

However, I think that advert is the absolute worst. It neither compels me to look at it, nor click on it. I think I'd be more inclined towards it if it actually showed one of the t-shirt designs available. Other t-shirt websites usually put one of their products on a busty female; that technique works well.

Can I get a show of hands?

Or maybe just some change*?

I hear ya.
I'm guessing they have a few stock banners, and that animated one goes up on sites like webcomics.
But I agree, a busty, attractive female wearing a clever shirt is definitely more click-worthy.

I actually just saw a SMBC advert on another page. Cyanide and Happiness to be exact. Which I believe has a high readership, so would certainly help Zach get more hits.
