Well, while looking at the interblag just recently, as you can see, I came across this. Oh! Good one Simon! What a nice worthy post this chuckle-buster is. Thanks. I've often said some of my best work happens when I think of an awfully lame and overdone joke and google image search to find a corresponding picture in the next 5 seconds. You too? Delish.

But I suppose you're all wondering why I called you here today? Well, while looking at the interblag just recently, I came across this little gem. Yes, it's a different link. Now it looks to me like a surefire Zach Weiner/SMBC piece, but I've never seen it before! Have YOU? I like to think I'm pretty up to date with the Weiner works, have any of you folks seen it around?

Wow. That's like really, really Zach-ish. Down to non-straight border and font. But I too have no recollection of it on smbc...

It KIND OF rings a bell but I'm probably making that up.

Totally looks like his work though. Side project donation thing?

Speaking of seeing Zach-y things around, I caught an issue of Australian Mad Magazine and I saw a comic by Zach in there, Cruel and Unusual. It's the one with the TMNT on the cover.. Just wanted to know...

Is this old news?

I remembers it!
It's definitely an older smbc strip.
You people clearly need to read through the archives more often!
The original caption was something along the lines of 'The earlier script for [whatever fairy tale that is] was a lot shorter' or something like that me thinks.
..And that is how you make the situation awkward.

The comic is definatly SMBC, but the whole "Simplicity, don't over plan" crap was added on later, like Cheaper Name Than Yours said.

Lame.

Clearly. However I have been rather enthralled about this whole "make your own motivational poster" phenomenon. Mainly because I have been checking out this site since its inception* a good 7 or so years ago. And now you can make your own. Excelsior. I guess the popularity of Despair.com inspired people to make their own. However, you shouldn't be using comics and the like, so much as you should be using stock photos. Well, at least if you want it to be good.

*Is inception just incest + conception?

So many thieves online. Stealing this comic gold and making it their own. Bah. Oh well. What're you gonna do but go over and kick 'em in the shin.
