Have you tried a different mouse? Try phoning up Gateway, I think they'd probably know a lot about their laptops.

Gateway stole my computer. Somehow, the assholes got moths in my computer when they built it, then it broke, then they wouldn't fix it because they put moths in it, then they told someone else to fix it, then those people went bankrupt, then Gateway was no longer responsible, and now my computer cannot be fixed under warranty even though the warranty won't be over for a year. So, now I have a Dell computer and I resent Dell and blah, blah, blah. I have a vendetta against PCs. Always wanted a Mac, but I never got one due to the expense after my first computer died. I should probably be really happy about owning a computer because that's such a luxury, but instead I complain. I want a Mac. When my sister's Mac broke, they actually made everything very clear and easy instead of jerking her around like do all PC companies. Also, Macs are pretty.

My laptop needed to be fixed twice, because something had been damaged and needed to be soldered back on; the second time was free, because it shouldn't have broken again. Took it to some laptop repair place up at Eglinton West Station and it cost a few hundred dollars (still much cheaper than a new laptop, or even one like I have, which was used when I bought it). Other than that I've never had trouble with a PC. I hate going to a friend's house and using their mac because I have no fucking clue what's going on. So much for easy to use.

I got it to function, but there still seems to be a slight problem with it's sensitivity settings. I'll get that fixed later.
This was a laptop without a mouse. So there was no real help. However, I thank you for the concern.

I hate macs, and I have a Dell right now which works great.

Seriously, the UI on macs is just plain obnoxious. The mouse on mac laptops is also garbage.

That's why you build your own PC. You can get it for cheaper and it will, if you know what you are doing, be ten times more powerful than the regular 'ol company-made ones.

Also you learn a lot of stuff in the process that makes you sound like "a real classy guy".

I dislike there are so few operating systems to use. Apple's whole exclusiveness bit is essentially what Microsoft did first in monopolizing things, except the fact Apple cannot beat Microsoft stops them from appearing as doing so.

Those adverts were horrible because they were horrible and a direct copy of existing adverts. I've never seen a PC commercial that didn't make me want to hit something. My Dell has all these features that try to be like a Mac, too, which is just pathetic. They suck up to be like Mac and fail AND still have the nerve to insult Macs while they copy them. Macs are just so much better for the common user. They just are. You use a Mac and you can't help but wonder why the hell PCs are so retarded in their functions. PCs are, of course, better for people into computers. Anyone that is into specified computer stuff like programming and hardcore gaming and that stuff is going to be happier with a PC, but people using their computer to type papers and browse the internet and listen to music are going to be happier with a Mac.
PS. Macs are physically built better.

No, I grew up on macs. My family for some reason insists on buying them. I don't have some kind of PC fueled hatred of them. I have my own reasons for despising them.
