New People 2.0
So some of you might have noticed how I'd previously mentioned I was pregnant, and then suddenly disappeared for a time. This is oddly enough Not a coincidence.
After 3 days of induced non successful back labor, I shed my parasite via surgery and gained what I am assured is a highly similar if not the same symbiont to bother me in more external methods. I'm still being watched to make sure I don't attempt to eat or sell it to the highest bidder until Monday, at which point apparently it'll be ready for market. (Start your bidding!)
On a more serious note he's pure adorable, and far tinnier headed then the doctors predicated, its... only 30 cm but I'm 90% sure I'm doing that wrong (note the method I'm using has my head as 61cm.) He weighed in at 8lbs 13.5oz 21.26 inches long at 00:52 Thursday morning. Having confirmed with a nurse his head was apparently 36.2 centimeters and I did do it wrong, just in the other direction. Everything is going well, and there'll be pictures at some point but for now just the announcement. Apparently early exposure to chemicals wasn't a big deal at all, he's healthy as a clam at temple. No idea when I'll be back to posting regularly, I'm under watch for a goodly while in the hospital and only provisional internet access when someone visits and barters laptop time to me to hold the baby. Thankfully that commodity seems to work well, I've been having to use it to get meals too.

Congratulations! You stunning woman. You have bought new life into the world.
Does it look like the predicted dinosaur? I hope so, his sale price will be much higher if that's the case.
I put in my bid of -$30. Babies are work, sell him when his older and less cry-y.

Pfft, I weighed in at 9 pounds 8 ounces, myself.
Anyway, congratulations. I could be persuaded to go as high as 100CAD.

I figured that's what you were up to. Glad to hear you are both fine.

Which was worse, the labor or the passing of a kidney stone? Were you in any fit condition to hunt down anyone?
These are horrible annoying questions at a time when you are sleep deprived and probably have better things to do. Maybe I should just stop while I'm ahead.

Doesn't that require you to be ahead in the first place?Euclidthegreek wrote:Maybe I should just stop while I'm ahead.

Re: New People 2.0
I meant "stop while I'm a head," because my old avatar featured the head of an aquatic arthropod. I have since changed my avatar, and am no longer a head. Thus it is too late to stop now.
Anyways, congrats Ashe. May the blessings of the squirrel-king be upon you and your family.

The squirrel-king? Any fool knows that a "blessing of the squirrel-king" is a most grave insult.

Congratulations on your spawning.
I just found out that my other married couple friends are pregnant. That's 3 for 3, due in October, December and February respectively.

Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.
