I don't know, I still like to believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Then again, if this is going to be used by advertisers, they generally conform to a standardized version of beauty anyways.

There are a few problems with that. One being that I know several people who are attractive but not photogenic.
But based on a one off glance of a stationary photograph, I can understand how this would be possible.

Probably the most important line. Certainly what people go for is objective when it comes to the general population, otherwise they wouldn't have any reason to agree. An individual's decision may be very different. All the same I support this kind of research, because it connotes a general increase in understanding about neuropsychology as well as how societies function.

No, it's from a crappy "Our Heritage" commercial on TV. Commercials that I think only really exist for the networks to get their Canadian Content up to the necessary levels.
Anyways, the commercial the quote comes from is about Dr. Penfieldand his discoveries in early neuroscience, particularly in the treatment of epilepsy, which is the basis for the commercial.

Even if it's just to get your quoting knowledge up to par, it is worth watching the whole thing again - I did that over these holidays and I'd forgotten what a good show it is
