Re: Merry Christmas
I think it's a bluff. Nobody owns an iPad these days, they're too trendy.

I got some cool-ass shit:
-Buncha strong ales, including a 10% St-Ambroise beer from Montreal.
-Digital camera.
-Henry Rollins book.
-Moleskine.
-Kirigami kit.
-Watch (as my old one broke months ago, and I have been clueless without it).
-European outlet converter.

I got a torch. You wind it up so that you don't have to use batteries.
That is all.
That is all.

Re: Merry Christmas
I got a bunch of cool stuff.
A bunch of things for the kitchen and some clothes.
Season 1 of Community (Yay!) and Annie Hall (such an awesome movie).
A pretty bad-ass set of computer speakers.
A few books (see "what'r'u reading" thread)
That's pretty much the score.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine wasn't great, despite the gifts. Mom's drinking is getting out of hand. Not sure what we're going to do about that yet.
But to make up for the difficulties, I had a pretty awesome weekend at my sister's (my parents left after our dinner on Sat., but I stayed around until this evening). Chatting, playing copious amounts of Wii Super Mario, and checking out a movie.

Isaac Newton was very religious but he had some pretty unusual religious beliefs, which he's not quite as well-known for, for example he denied the Holy Trinity, believing it was polytheistic.
My sources are a TV Programme I wathed a couple years ago.

Not really unusual, as it has been an ongoing "debate" since Nicea and before.Euclidthegreek wrote:Isaac Newton was very religious but he had some pretty unusual religious beliefs, which he's not quite as well-known for, for example he denied the Holy Trinity, believing it was polytheistic.

Yes, but it was considered heretical at the time.Lethal Interjection wrote:Not really unusual, as it has been an ongoing "debate" since Nicea and before.Euclidthegreek wrote:Isaac Newton was very religious but he had some pretty unusual religious beliefs, which he's not quite as well-known for, for example he denied the Holy Trinity, believing it was polytheistic.
